Constructivism - The Titfield Thunderbolt
Heisenberg might have stayed here
Yesterday kharin and I went to see the Rodchenko and Popova exhibition at Tate Modern. The weather was fresh but distinctly less wintry than in the past couple of weeks, and we had sandwiches by the river front entrance. The exhibition was mildly interesting; though I'm not a great fan of abstract art I did find some of the geometric and textured works quite appealing. Also in the interesting minutiae was a photograph of an uncharacteristically relaxed and carefree Shostakovich with these artists from the late 1920s.
