Book Review: Giles - One of the Family (British Cartoon Archive)
This exhibition catalogue is rather a slim volume and it's probably only for enthusiasts, but is nevertheless an interesting memento. I shall look up Peter Tory's official biography of Giles for future reading.

I loved Giles when I was a kid.

He was, as I remember, about the only good reason for reading the Express.

Interestingly, Giles' own politics were quite left-wing and it surprised many of his friends and colleagues that he moved to the Express. But money talks, and he also liked the idea of the large audience it would give him.
